Mississippi Beta (Mississippi State) Wins Back-To-Back Harvard Trophies

The Harvard Trophy is awarded to the most outstanding Phi Delt Chapter on a large campus.

Winner: Mississippi Beta – Mississippi State

The men of Mississippi Beta have over 90 members; twice average size of the typical chapter on their campus. The chapter is top 10 in grades. Most impressive is the chapter’s strong presence within various campus organizations. This includes leadership on IFC and student government, campus crusade for Christ, student ambassadors, and intramurals.  Mississippi Beta’s dedication to service and philanthropy is far reaching. During the Christmas holiday, 16 members volunteered in the aftermath of the Alabama tornados. The chapter prides itself as a large organization, while maintaining a sense of organization and brotherhood. Congratulations to the men of Mississippi Beta!

Honorable Mention: Nebraska Alpha – University of Nebraska-Lincoln
 

Since their chartering in 2004 the Nebraska Alpha Chapter at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has demonstrated impressive growth boasting 92 members on a campus where the average is 62. Scholastically, the chapter maintains a 3.27 placing them in top 5 of 24 men’s groups on their campus. A true example of academic achievement, there are several brothers involved in honors program and professional societies.
