Through hard work, creativity, and a little bit of magic by “Alpha Male” Wyatt Shults, the men of Missouri Beta brought home victory in the Superhero-themed Alpha Gamma Delta Philanthropy Week. The Philanthropy Week was a five day long charity event open to the Greek community of Westminster College and William Woods University, with all proceeds going to the Our House shelter in Fulton and the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation.
Participants competed in trivia, serenades and relay events dressed in superhero costume. At the end of the week a talent show was held with a representative from each chapter. In true Phi Delt fashion, Wyatt Shults blew away the audience with a perfectly executed magic trick, securing his position as “Alpha Male” and the chapter’s win.
Allison McSherry, Philanthropy Chair for Alpha Gamma Delta, praised Phi Delt for their accomplishment. “Phi Delt worked extremely hard throughout the week and it showed through their performance in each event. I am very happy with how all of the events turned out, and I am happy about the amount of participation and the money we were able to raise for Our House and the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation.
