New York Kappa Defends Float Building Title, President Wins Hofstra King

hofstra_2012_float.jpgThe brothers of the New York Kappa Chapter at Hofstra University defended their title at the 2012 Hofstra Fall Festival by winning the annual float building competition for the second year in a row. Paired with the sisters of Alpha Phi, the two organizations created a float dedicated to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. The theme of this year’s Fall Festival was American Musicians and both organizations spent countless hours over the past week to create the outstanding float.

Fall Festival was especially exciting this year as New York Kappa President Lawrence Daves won the 2012 Hofstra King! A special congratulations to him and Delta Gamma sister Liz Weeden for winning the title of Queen. Definitely a Brother-Sister victory to be proud of!
