New York Kappa (Hofstra) Recruits Largest Fall Class In Chapter’s History

10.19.2012

The brothers of New York Kappa at Hofstra University have recruited the largest fall pledge class in the chapter’s history. Ten men accepted bids to become a part of the Epsilon class for the Fall of 2012. The Phikeia class doubles the pledge class size of any of the nine fraternities ay Hofstra. The brothers are excited to move forward into Phikeia education and continue to make Phi Delta Theta a great organization on campus.

In other news, several of the brothers of New York Kappa were heavily involved in the planning of the second presidential debate between President Obama and Governor Romney that occurred October 16th. Chapter President Lawrence Daves was a Co-Chair of the Student Debate Committee that planned the great majority of student related activities to get the campus involved and interactive with the debate. Vice President Thomas Eddy and Brother Spencer MacDonald were fortunate enough to win lottery tickets to go into the Debate Hall and watch the debate in person.
