The brothers of Florida Nu at Florida Atlantic University recently hosted a chili and baked goods event cook/bake-off with Alpha Epsilon Pi. With over a dozen entries in each category, the 2nd annual contest quadrupled in attendance and money raised compared to last year. Companies like Red Bull, Tire Kingdom, PA Grill, andUBreakIFix were generous enough to support the event by donating gift cards, tents, and giveaways. Brothers Daniel McGuirk and Tim Varacchi were able to show off their DJing skills to the community by playing a set in the Red Bull MXT Truck. The men of both chapters were extremely exited to see this event become what it is and cannot wait to see it grow next year.
The chapter also put together a dance crew competition recently. With over 600 attendees and $1,000+ raised, this spur of the moment idea turned into one of the biggest events on campus. Sororities organized teams and presented a dance routine at FAU’s Kaye Hall.
In other news, Brother Leon Legot had his photos published in this months Surfer Magazine, the chapter won Homecoming week with Alpha Delta Pi and Alpha Tau Omega and brother Dean Hasan was named Homecoming King.
