On Wednesday, November 7, the brothers of Illinois Alpha at Northwestern University welcomed the Red Cross into their chapter house for a Blood Drive. Brother Aaron Frank worked with the Red Cross to setup the event and informed the chapter, others around campus and the Evanston community about the event.
Forty people, including came through the Phi Delta Theta chapter house and thirty of them were able to donate blood and help save lives. The goal of thirty donations was right on target and was achieved. The staff of the Red Cross was very pleased with the hospitality and turnout, and the brothers of Illinois Alpha were clearly excited and enthusiastic about the opportunity to donate.
