On January 15th, Brother Don McClelland (Akron ’35) celebrated his 100th birthday and 80th year as a member of Phi Delta Theta. Several alumni and undergrads visited  Brother McClelland at his home near Akron, Ohio on what the brothers called “Don’s Day.” The alumni presented him with a special 80th Golden Legion anniversary award from GHQ, and the undergrads delivered Don a bag full of happy 100th birthday cards. Don thanked his brothers for the wonderful gifts and nice cards but said he felt that a visit from his Phi Delt brothers was by far the best present he could have received.
