California Pi (San Diego State) Wins Chapter President of the Year, Alongside Other Awards

cap2013awards.jpgOn Monday, April 29th, the California Pi Chapter at San Diego State University attended the University’s Greek Life Awards ceremony. Throughout the course of the night, the chapter won many distinguished awards as a whole. Individual brothers were also awarded at the ceremony. Thanks to the hard work of California Pi’s Scholarship Director Gary Tran, the chapter received the Outstanding Scholarship Program Award, an award presented to the chapter with the most effective scholastic programming within the IFC community. California Pi also received the Fundraising Champion Award for its hard work raising thousands of dollars for Greek Week. Phikeia Educator Ryan Smith and President Corey Polant received awards for their outstanding service to the IFC community, after serving on the IFC Executive Committee for the past year. The final award of the evening was given to Brother Joshua Bielik as Chapter President of the Year. This award is given to one chapter president every year who exemplifies what it means to be an influential leader, fraternity man and dedicated student.
