The men of Ohio Epsilon at the University of Akron have been working hard to make a positive impact on ALS in the local community. On April 27th, five Ohio Epsilon brothers traveled to Mansfield, Ohio to support a local woman, Beth Popa Castelvetere, who at the age of 37 was diagnosed with ALS. From the proceeds of their fundraising efforts, Ohio Epsilon was able to donate $2,500 to Beth’s fundraiser to help with her high medical bills. The men were grateful that they had the opportunity to donate and make a positive impact on Beth and her family, and they look forward to assisting the family in any way in the future.
