A chapter-wide effort from the brothers of Arizona Gamma at Northern Arizona University, led by recruitment chairman Travis Butterly, has resulted in the largest Phikeia class in the chapter’s history. A successful rush week included 90 interested potentials, 45 bids extended and 40 accepted. Not only was this the biggest Phikeia class in Arizona Gamma’s history, the group of men were held to a higher standard than the norm.
Arizona Gamma revamped its recruitment strategy this year, including greater networking before rush week and implementing an interview process to make sure the men who were extended bids best exemplified the three Cardinal Principles. The large Phikeia class will help strengthen and grow the chapter that has already made large strides since its establishment in 1995.
