The South Carolina Gamma Chapter at Clemson University completed their Fall Recruitment period with 37 men accepting bids, capping a highly successful recruiting campaign for the chapter. Led by the efforts of Brother Greg Doerr (’14), the chapter leadership worked diligently throughout the summer in preparation for the University’s formal recruitment week. A number of changes to the chapter’s recruiting approach were implemented, including an emphasis on maximizing the chapter’s visibility to potential new members. Once the semester began, a complete chapter effort yielded obvious results.
Overall, the chapter extended 56 bids, and the 65% acceptance rate is the highest the chapter has experienced in the last five years. Additionally, the class of 37 new members ranks among the highest in South Carolina Gamma’s history, as well as among all fraternities this semester.
