Four New Mexico Alpha (New Mexico) Phis Elected As Student Government Senators

The New Mexico Alpha Chapter of Phi Delta Theta has made history at the University of  New Mexico. In the Spring of 2013, two brothers were elected to the Student Government as Senators and are currently serving the second halves of their terms. Then, in the Fall of 2013, two more brothers were elected, giving Phi Delta Theta four out of a total of twenty student Senators.

Such a large presence of the student government by one student organization has not been seen in at least a decade. Another three brothers from the chapter plan to run for the Senate this semester. If they win, the chapter will set a record for the number of Senators from a single organization.
