The application process for the Phi Delta Theta Foundation’s undergraduate scholarships and graduate school fellowships is now open. These scholarships and fellowships will be awarded for the 2014-2015 academic year. All undergraduate members, in good standing and with at least one year left in school, are eligible to apply for the undergraduate scholarships. Graduating seniors and alumni attending graduate school are eligible to apply for the graduate fellowships.
40 Whole Man Scholarships Now Available
Thanks to the generous $2 million gift by Maurice and Dorothea Shaffer, given to the Foundation last year, more than 40 new Whole Man Scholarships are available to undergraduates from any chapter. Those selected will represent the Fraternity’s best and brightest and will attend the Honors College of Leadership at the Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute. Whole Man Scholars will also receive a $1,000 scholarship. Candidates should be an initiated member of the chapter with a suggested 3.0 GPA and should complete an online application that includes essay questions with an emphasis on leadership and ethics. Recommendations from an academic faculty member, a province president or chapter advisory board chairman, and an additional character reference must also be included.
