Florida Alpha Phi Cory Yeffet was elected Student Body President at the University of Florida on February 19, 2014. Cory will serve as the Student Body President of one of the largest universities in the country, as he will serve as the overall representative of over 50,000 students.

Cory Yeffet is a senior from Miami, Florida, studying Economics and Political Science. Cory was initiated into Phi Delta Theta in the Fall of 2010 and has served the chapter as Vice President and Social Chairman. As a Student Senator, Cory has served in the roles of Senate President, Senate President Pro Tempore, Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee as well as the Majority Party Leader.

Upon graduation and completion of his term as Student Body President, Cory hopes to earn his Masters of Science in Real Estate. Cory is proud to be a Florida Gator and even more Proud to be a Phi!

Brothers of Florida Alpha now hold the University of Florida leadership positions of Interfraternity Council President and Student Body President.
