On March 1, the University of New Mexico concluded its annual Greek Games and held a banquet to award the chapters on campus that earned special accolades during 2013. The New Mexico Alpha Chapter of Phi Delta Theta was one of two fraternities on campus to receive a full five-star award for excellence in academics, community service and campus involvement.

New Mexico Alpha was re-installed in October of 2013, so this was their first semester to be eligible for a star rating. The gentlemen of the chapter continue to be leaders on campus with the most student government involvement and the highest GPA of any IFC fraternity at UNM.
