On April 4th, the brothers of Ohio Epsilon at the University of Akron held their annual Buy-A-Phi fundraising event. The chapter auctioned off roughly 50 brothers, who in return, promised five hours of their time to the buyer for service or other volunteer work. The chapter also held an auction at the event that had great prizes like a Pro Football Hall of Fame basket, women’s jewelry and gift cards for local restaurants. There were more than 400 people in attendance at the event, and the chapter was able to raise $7,800 to benefit local ALS families that the chapter has adopted as well as The ALS Association.
