The Ontario Beta Colony at the University of Western University participated in the campus’ 10th annual Relay For Life cancer fundraiser from March 22-23 2014.
This was the first major fundraising event for the colony since colonization in late November. More than 70 teams participated in the event, including all 14 of Western’s Greek organizations. The Ontario Beta Colony came out as the top individual Greek fundraising team as well as the 5th highest fundraising team in general with a fundraising total of $2,275. In addition to this feat, brother Zachary Turner raised $1,500.50, which made him the second highest individual fundraiser at the event.
The brothers had a great time creating relationships with other students and Greek organizations.
