The Phi Delta Theta Alumni Club of Atlanta, Inc. hosted its fall networking on September 25 at Laseter’s Tavern in Vinings. In attendance were local alumni representing 12 chapters across the United States and Canada.

In addition to networking and socializing, past Alumni Club President J. Rodgers Lunsford III (Vanderbilt University ’65) spoke to the group. Lunsford is a respected area attorney and is a partner in the intellectual property practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.

Addressing the group, Rogers drew correlations between his experiences as an undergraduate to his adult and professional life. “Regardless of where we are employed, we’re all in the profession of building relationships,” he said. “The Fraternity taught me about teamwork, building unity and shared experience which all go into building and nurturing relationships. These skills have served me well throughout my life.”

Mr. Lunsford graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. in mechanical engineering and received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia. His professional expertise is in litigating intellectual property disputes and has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® and named one of The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals by World Trademark Review.
