In its first year as a chapter, Tennessee Eta has found great success as its third Founding Father was elected to Middle Tennessee State University’s IFC Executive Board.

Last week, Kyle Gehringer was elected to serve on IFC Exec as Vice President of Scholarship. Brother Gehringer follows in the footsteps of fellow Founding Fathers JoJo Cortes, VP of Community Relations, and Mickey Wells, VP of Finance, as the third brother to serve a term on the board.

Brother Gehringer’s responsibilities as VP of Scholarship include: overlooking the academic state of all IFC chapters, creating academic reports and providing opportunities for academic growth. The term is effective immediately and will continue until December 2015.

His goals for the position include improving the overall IFC GPA and promoting the ways in which being a fraternity man can help you grow intellectually.

Brother Gehringer has also been nominated to serve on Tennessee Eta’s executive board as scholarship chair.
