The Oklahoma Alpha Chapter at the University of Oklahoma recently held a toy drive to support the Center for Children and Families Inc., a local organization. The chapter saw the toy drive as a great opportunity to not only help the community, but to also provide members with a stress-free distraction as finals approached.

CCFI leaders were excited and very appreciative of the hard work the members of Phi Delt put in to the drive. CCFI stated “I know it takes a lot of hard work to organize something like this and especially in the midst of finals! These toys will make a huge difference to so many children….we are so grateful.” In a little over one week, the members collected toys for young boys and girls with a total value of a little over $1,000, more than doubling the amount that the organization had received prior to that point. The Phis are very proud to end the semester on such a high note with yet another successful toy drive. They are looking forward to their numerous other philanthropy events on campus.
