Patrick Edler and Trevor Ivan of Colorado Gamma were recently elected and installed onto the 2015 IFC Executive Board at Colorado State University. Patrick will serve as the Vice President of Scholarship and Trevor will serve as the Vice President of Membership Development. Both previously were Executive Board members of Colorado Gamma with Patrick serving as the Vice President and Trevor serving as the Phikeia Educator.
They credit their experience of serving as leaders within their chapter for wanting to be on IFC. Patrick created chapter scholarship program that took the chapter from 17th in chapter GPA to number one amongst all fraternities and sororities at Colorado State University last spring. Trevor had the opportunity to serve the chapter as Phikeia Educator for the largest class the chapter has seen in over 26 years with 28 men initiated.
As Vice President of Scholarship, Patrick will be in charge of assisting fraternities at Colorado State who fell below the all men’s average GPA in creating academic action plans for their chapters as well as improving the current IFC scholarship program to help chapters succeed. Trevor as Vice President of Membership Development will be in charge of a creating and implementing meaningful development experiences for all members of the IFC Greek Community including working with the new member retreat and other programs for the community.
