The General Headquarters is proud to announce two changes to its Executive Team.
Starting February 1, Mike Wahba assumed the role of Director of Chapter Services. Brother Wahba was most recently the Fraternity’s Director of Expansion, leading the Fraternity’s Expansion Team to achieve the growth goals prescribed by Phi Delt 2020, the Fraternity’s strategic plan. Brother Wahba began his career at the General Headquarters as the first Colony Development Specialist, providing guidance and tutelage to Phi Delta Theta’s newest leaders. Prior to his time at GHQ, he was an undergraduate leader at the University of La Verne (California Rho) where he served as the Executive Vice President of the Associated Students, IFC President and chapter president.
“I am extremely excited about my transition from supporting our newest colonies to our existing chapters and am looking forward to providing chapters with assistance to help them achieve their full potential. There is no professional experience more fulfilling than helping men become the greatest version of themselves.”
Succeeding Wahba as Director of Expansion is Tucker Barney who will begin his new role on April 1.
Prior to becoming the Director of Expansion, Brother Barney served as an Expansion Consultant earlier this year where he helped establish colonies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and Florida Gulf Coast University. Prior to his time with the General Headquarters, Barney attended the University of Puget Sound (UPS) where he was a two term president of the Washington Delta Chapter. He earned a business degree with a mathematics and economics minor. In his time at UPS, he also played baseball, was the Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound Lectures Coordinator and a recreational supervisor in the campus gym for three years.
“I cannot put into words how thrilled I am for the opportunity to take my relationship with Phi Delta Theta to the next level. The Fraternity has given so much to me and has truly helped me grow into the individual I am today. This experience is something I want to have available on as many campuses as possible, and I am ecstatic to take on the role of Director of Expansion in order to make that a reality.”
