Kansas Epsilon (Emporia State) Named Most Outstanding Chapter For Fourth Year in a Row

Kansas Epsilon was named the Outstanding IFC Fraternity of 2014 at the Emporia State Fraternity & Sorority Life Awards Program during Greek Week. It is the fourth consecutive year that the chapter has earned this recognition and the sixth in 10 years.

Jordan Brink, chapter president and recent Interfraternity Council president, was recognized with the fraternity Campus Leadership Award.

Jason Bosch, Kansas Epsilon’s faculty advisor received the Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority Headquarter Fraternity/Sorority Advisor of the Year Award. Jason Bosch, a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at Wichita State, is the former Emporia State director of Fraternity and Sorority Life. He currently serves as the senior director of the Center for Student Involvement. In May, Bosch will become the director of the Memorial Union. Bosch has advised Kansas Epsilon since fall of 2011.

Kansas Epsilon was recognized along with Alpha Kappa Lambda, Chi Omega and Sigma Sigma Sigma for being pilot chapters for the G.I.V.E. Givers program. The program is a community service initiative connecting international students with Greek chapters for service projects. Kansas Epsilon has worked with three students this semester from Costa Rica, India and Ukraine.

Finally, Kansas Epsilon’s Victor Acosta co-chaired the 2015 Greek Week as an officer of the Interfraternity Council.
