On April 21, Robert Morris University held its annual Student Excellence Dinner. A record 200+ students were in attendance for the dinner where individuals and organizations were awarded for the excellent things they do on campus. Ten members of Pennsylvania Pi were in attendance along with fellow Phis Gregory Dell’Omo, Robert Morris University President and Matthew Fritsch, Leadership Consultant.
Pennsylvania Pi was named Chapter of the Year for the third time in four years. The chapter also repeated as the winner of the Excellence in Community Service and Philanthropy Award. Brother Brenden Knecht was given the Rising Leader Award as the new member of the year, and Brother Hunter Carlheim was awarded Greek Man of the Year.
The chapter is also proud to announce that Wes Moore and Hunter Carlheim were named to the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities list. Six brothers were awarded the Ambassador of Equality title through RMU’s Multicultural office: Nick Cutruzzula, Hunter Carlheim, Francis Kimura, Antonio Verbene, George Maldonado and Ryan Wetmore. Finally, Nick Cutruzzula and George Maldonado received the Renaissance Award for completing all six categories on their Student Engagement Transcripts.
