This past week, the University of Akron swore in multiple positions to fill their Undergraduate Student Government branches. Among the numerous men and women appointed to positions, a handful of those were Phis. Currently, there are 12 men who are memberes of Phi Delta Theta and serve in a position within the Undergraduate Student Government:

Ricky Angeletti – Vice President
Nick Caruso – Director of Events Funding
Nolyn Martz – Director of Travel Funding
Derek Foster – Director of Technology
Garrett Scherba – Chief Justice
Tim Hull – Clerical Justice
Juan Camacho – Associate Justice
Brandyn Costa – At Large Senator
Rich Mehok – College of Business Senator
Isaac Lampner – College of Education Senator
Teddy Helton – Senate Clerk
The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) serves as a major source of communication and support between the undergraduate student body and the administration. They serve the students of The University of Akron. USG is also heavily involved in working with student organizations and ensuring their success. By serving as a voice for the student body, these men are the change agents who really help exemplify the opinions and views of the students to the administration. They’re responsible for many of the improvements and adjustments made at the University of Akron for the overall success of the students.
