The Indiana Gamma Chapter of Phi Delta Theta along with the women of Tri Delta won Butler University’s Homecoming competition on Saturday, Sept. 26. This is the second year in a row that Indiana Gamma has won the competition.
The overall theme for the celebration was Cartoons and the pairing selected Scooby-Doo. The pairing competed in numerous activities which included, “Yell like Hell”, a lip sync-like competition with the addition of Butler-themed cheers, lawn decorations and a parade. The pairing won lip-sync and placed in both lawn decorations and the Butler Homecoming parade.
Another Homecoming festivity is the annual Chariot race, and Indiana Gamma has not lost a race since their re-founding. This year was no exception as the chapter claimed another victory.
Finally, Indiana Gamma’s Drew Horn was named Homecoming King. This is the first time a Phi has won since the chapter’s 2008 re-founding. All of the placements and victories added up to a Phi Delta Theta Homecoming win!
