On October 21, the California Pi Chapter at San Diego State University partnered with Delta Gamma to host a blood drive within their chapter house. The two organizations collectively donated forty-four units of blood to the American Red Cross. The event brought the two chapters together for a charitable cause, and the day was filed with people flowing in and out of the chapter house to donate blood and lend their support. Each pint of blood donated can save up to three lives. The contributions made at this event have the potential to save one hundred and thirty two lives.

Event organizer and Red Cross employee Jared Bass said, “The Red Cross with the help of Phi Delta Theta and Delta Gamma is a symbol of hope throughout the world. As part of this humanitarian organization, the American Red Cross San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter provides hope and help to victims from single family and community emergencies to national and international disasters.”

The California Pi Chapter of Phi Delta Theta takes great pride in improving their community in any way possible.
