The Washington University football team wore special-edition green jerseys this past Saturday to promote WashU’s Green Dot bystander intervention program. WashU Athletics partnered with the Relationship & Sexual Violence Prevention (RSVP) Center on campus to raise awareness and education about the importance of creating a community where sexual violence is not tolerated.
A large number of Missouri Gamma Phis are members of the football team. Inspired by the University’s commitment to spread awareness about sexual violence, the Missouri Gamma Phis have also made a pledge to do what they can to prevent sexual violence and be leaders of change on campus. The attached picture was taken of the Missouri Gamma Phis after the Green Dot game, which WashU won 70-32 over Millsaps.
