During the National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week, the men of the Ohio Epsilon Chapter  at the University of Akron co-hosted their annual Soberfest fundraiser with the women of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.

The event raised over $8,000 that will be donated to both The ALS Association as well as Alpha Delta Pi’s philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House. The fundraiser was designed to promote alcohol awareness by demonstrating safe alternatives to standard events with alcohol. Additionally, the university’s Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards provided information regarding safe use of alcohol and alternatives.
