Pennsylvania Pi’s Fall 2015 Alpha Delta Phikeia class marks a great moment in the chapter’s history. This fall, the brothers of Pennsylvania Pi initiated nine new brothers (two freshman, six sophomores and one junior). Since 2001, when the chapter was chartered, 202 brothers have been initiated into the chapter on Robert Morris’ campus. As the chapter approaches its 15th anniversary, the brothers of Pennsylvania Pi have an additional source of pride.
The nine new members were able to organize a Lawn Game Octathalon philanthropy event on Nov. 7, where teams of four competed in various lawn games to score points. The teams with the highest points were awarded prizes. The new members raised over $600 to donate to a family whose father was recently diagnosed with ALS. The new members also contributed more than 200 hours of community service during the fall semester and have an average GPA of 3.3. The chapter is excited to see how these men will add to the positive reputation at Pennsylvania Pi.
