In the spirit of the season of giving, Texas Delta Phi Delts at Southern Methodist University participated in the student senate-run Angel Tree program. Student groups from across campus encouraged members to collect gifts for sponsored children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect at home.

With 90 children sponsored by SMU, Phi Delta Theta contributed just over 1/3 of the gifts for the collection. Though participation was not done for the recognition, External Affairs Coordinator for SMU Mattie Casey said, “You have no idea how big a difference Phi Delt made for these kids.”
