Sean Wagner Named Chief Operating Officer of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and Foundation

On January 1, 2016, Sean Wagner was named Chief Operating Officer of both the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and Foundation. In his new role, Brother Wagner is tasked with leading the daily operations of each organization, ensuring their alignment and fulfillment of Phi Delta Theta’s strategic plan Phi Delt 2020. Other primary responsibilities include board, financial and litigation management, planned giving and alternative revenue activities.

“We’re excited to have Sean continue his work with the Fraternity and to officially join the Foundation team to maintain our strong momentum, helping to ensure that we accomplish our initiatives and goals set forth in our strategic plan Phi Delt 2020. Over the years, Sean has been a trusted resource for our volunteers, undergraduates and staff. His new role is a testament to his significant contributions made to the organization,” said Bob Biggs who serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Fraternity and Foundation.

Sean previously served as Leadership Consultant, Director of Expansion, Director of Alumni Services, and most recently as the Fraternity’s Associate Executive Vice President, where his most significant accomplishment was helping to develop, fully implement, monitor and adjust the Fraternity’s strategic plan.

Wagner is a member of the Pennsylvania Mu Chapter and a graduate of Widener University where he studied communication. He holds a Masters in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from Northern Kentucky University and is enrolled at the University of Notre Dame studying executive management. Sean is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) as credentialed by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), an organization where he serves as member of its Membership Development Committee.
