The brothers of Phi Delta Theta’s Connecticut Alpha Chapter at Central Connecticut State University recently held their second annual Walk to Defeat ALS on campus. This year, the brothers raised near $4,000 to donate to the cause.
The walk consists of a predetermined path set on the school’s campus with the main area being set in the center of campus. The brothers were able to have a picnic style buffet with a fried dough truck available for participants and offered activities such as a rock wall, dunk tank and bungee trampolines. The Central Connecticut State administration now looks forward to the walk as a day the student body can come together to help raise awareness for such a terrible disease.
