Pursuit of Greatness
Daniel Oswald – Kent State

Ohio Lamba Phi Daniel Oswald has been elected Undergraduate Student Government President at Kent State University. Brother Oswald is a junior from Medina, Ohio and is studying Finance. His platform included implementing a student liaison service to underrepresented organizations based on the University’s recent climate survey.

Oswald has been a member of Phi Delta Theta since the Fall of 2014 and has held the positions of public relations chairman, house manager, recruitment chairman and Phikeia Educator. He has noted that his proudest accomplishments have come from his Phi Friday series on Instagram, leading the chapter house in successful pranks and being a general “firecracker.”

As a member of USG, Oswald has served on the Allocations and Programming boards. Brother Oswald accepted an internship at Key Bank in their credit department for the summer, and he plans to use his internship experience to get a job in New York City starting in the Fall of 2018.
