The brothers of Florida Delta at the University of Miami saw great success at the annual Association of Greek Letter Organizations (AGLO) awards ceremony. The chapter walked away from the ceremony with six notable awards.
Most Outstanding Philanthropy – Florida Delta raised approximately $26,000 for The ALS Association during the academic-year, more than double of any previous year’s effort during Florida Delta’s history.
Most Outstanding Sophomore and Junior – Brothers Eliot Sackman and Erik McKee won the awards for most outstanding sophomore and junior respectively, based on their resume of chapter and campus involvement.
Dean’s Award for Service – Brother Nolan Chastain served as Chairman of AGLO and did an excellent job growing and promoting the valuable work of the University of Miami Greek community.
Most Outstanding President – As chapter president, Tommy Kelly was involved in many things internally within Florida Delta as well as externally with GHQ and the Dean of Students office. During his time in office, Florida Delta raised a record amount for philanthropy, won Greek Week, recruited a great new member class, and initiated a house-build fundraising effort.
