Missouri Gamma (Washington) Sends Care Packages To Troops, Raises $1,000 For ALS

04.23.2017

The Missouri Gamma Chapter of Phi Delta Theta raised money to send care packages to American troops throughout the 2016-17 Washington University basketball season.

The packages support Washington University alumni Marines in Afghanistan as well as a Texas training base. The chapter is also proud to send care packages to a number of Phis in the military.

The “Bomb Squad” is passionate about the opportunity to give back to those who give us so much every day. By helping Bomb Squad Gives Back, donors have the opportunity to help and honor America’s Heroes.

The Missouri Gamma Chapter would love to gather additional names of Phi Delt troops to add to the list of care packages. Please send any names of Phi Delt troops to David Nees at dnees23@gmail.com.

In other Missouri Gamma philanthropic news, the chapter hosted its inaugural Casino Night on March 3, raising $1,000 for The ALS Association. With 100 people in attendance, the event was a great success. The event featured Texas Hold Em’, blackjack, and roulette games. There was also a raffle that included prizes from local restaurants and St. Louis Blues tickets.
