Phi Delta Theta recently announced the hiring of two undergraduate Phis for the 2017 GHQ summer internship position. California Sigma’s (Sonoma State) Max Hull and Idaho Alpha’s (Idaho) Mike Ryan have been hired as summer interns to help execute the 2017 summer conferences, participate in various educational sessions, and take on various GHQ projects, all while gaining valuable professional experience in the nonprofit, association, event planning and fundraising industries.
Max Hull (Sonoma State University)
Max Hull is currently a Junior and a member of Phi Delta Theta’s California Sigma Chapter at Sonoma State University. He is a Criminology/Criminal Justice Major who plans to go on to career in law enforcement after his undergraduate studies. Within California Sigma, he has served as Chapter President, Recruitment Chairman, and IFC Chairman. Max’s favorite Phi Delt experience was and continues to be leading California Sigma in recruiting quality, virtuous men into the brotherhood each semester.
“I am extremely excited to begin my journey this summer in Oxford as an intern for Phi Delta Theta’s General Headquarters. I have gained so much from my experience in college as a Phi, and I am eager to give back to the brotherhood on a new level. Roll Phi!”
Mike Ryan (University of Idaho)
Mike Ryan is from Estes Park, Colorado and attends the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. He is currently a senior studying Sociology and Criminology and has plans to become a State Trooper after graduation. Mike served as the 2015-16 Chapter President of the Idaho Alpha Chapter. His favorite Phi Delt experiences have revolved around traveling and representing Idaho Alpha as Chapter President and being able to connect with and meet Phis from many different backgrounds.
“Holding many different officer positions within the chapter taught me so much about Phi Delta Theta and what it means to be a man of moral character. Having said that, learning and growing never stops, and that is why I look forward to continuing my journey working for General Headquarters this summer. Proud to be Phi!”
