The Ohio Epsilon Chapter of Phi Delta Theta received numerous accolades at The University of Akron’s annual Greek Leadership Awards, held on Sunday, March 11. Sponsored by the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life, the 42nd Annual Greek Awards featured a variety of trophies across such categories as scholarship, fraternal spirit, and impact on the community.
Ohio Epsilon received awards for Alumni Relations, Interfraternal Spirit, (an award for which a chapter must be nominated by other campus fraternities), Chapter Academic Excellence (awarded to the chapter with the highest overall GPA), Member Development, Recruitment Excellence, and Risk Management. In addition, Ohio Epsilon was awarded the Dean’s Cup, the top award recognizing the best overall fraternity on campus.
In addition, members Dominic Musilli and Christian Trent were both awarded the Order of Omega Thomas J. Vukovich award, a recognition given to the top ten juniors & seniors within Greek Life at the University of Akron. Current Chapter President Nicholas Lewis was awarded the Thomas J. Vukovich Rising Leaders Scholarship, an award for rising sophomore leaders in the Greek community.
