Washington Alpha (Washington) Raises $14,000 for the Education of Youth in Foster Care

03.10.2018

Over the past few months, the University of Washington’s “Mr. Greek” competition hosted by Alpha Gamma Delta has been a heated battle between the 14 participating fraternities. With talents, dances, and even pickup lines put on display from each house’s representative, every chapter was gunning for the title of “Mr. Greek”.

Washington Alpha’s contestant, Collin Robins, and head of fundraising, Jeff Menaker rallied the chapter and raised over $14,000 for the Treehouse for Kids Foundation that benefits foster children and their continued education. After these efforts, and an amazing performance of Con Te Partiro from his days on the national youth choir, Collin was crowned 2018’s Mr. Greek. This is the second year in a row that Washington Alpha has won this competition, raising $11,000 last year.
