The Georgia Epsilon Chapter hosted a Founders Day Banquet on Saturday evening, April 21 in Statesboro, Georgia. More than 200 students, alumni, and guests attended the 50th anniversary of the founding of the student group that became the Georgia Epsilon Chapter.
The featured speaker for the banquet was Brother Jon McBride, WVA ’64 who is a former NASA Astronaut and pilot of the Challenger Space Shuttle. Brother McBride shared a video and slide presentation about being an astronaut and his career experiences with NASA. Brother McBride also serves as a Trustee for the Phi Delta Theta Foundation. Others in attendance who spoke were Province President Steve Norris and Executive Vice President & CEO Bob Biggs.
