The Phi Delta Theta Foundation is proud to welcome Brothers Alec Pegler and Landon Killion as Advancement Officers. In an ongoing effort to increase Foundation awareness and activity, Alec and Landon will play an integral role in the Foundation’s future capital campaign. Advancement Officers identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts of $25,000 and above from alumni, parents, and friends of Phi Delta Theta.
Alec Pegler joined the Phi Delta Theta Foundation staff at the beginning of 2019 and travels the western part of the United States, meeting with Phis who are committed to furthering the mission of Phi Delta Theta. Previously he worked for Summa Health as a development officer where he oversaw internal and external fundraising efforts for the health system.
Alec graduated from the University of Akron in May, 2018 where he earned a bachelor of business administration in sales management and marketing management. During his time at the Ohio Epsilon Chapter, Alec served as their operational fundraising chairman and then as philanthropic fundraising chairman for two terms. He also helped establish a professional development non-executive position to help the men at Ohio Epsilon better prepare for job fairs and interviews, and develop strong resumes. In his free time, Alec enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Landon Killion will join the Foundation team June 3 after a successful tenure as an Expansion Consultant for the Fraternity. He graduated with a bachelor of science in sports management and marketing/management from the University of Nebraska – Kearney. He initiated into the Nebraska Beta Chapter of Phi Delta Theta in the Fall of 2013. Landon held the positions of Phikeia educator, president, and recruitment chairman for the chapter during his time as an undergraduate.
Apart from the Fraternity, Landon capitalized on his collegiate career by being a student orientation leader, serving in student government, a Fraternity and Sorority Life intern, and working full time. What he enjoyed most was volunteering his time to give back to the community with his chapter brothers.
Phi Delta Theta Foundation is excited to have a growing Advancement team.
