Phi Delta Theta recently welcomed Tennessee Delta’s (Tennessee Tech) Brian Schreiber in Oxford for the 2019 GHQ summer internship position. As a GHQ intern, Brian will help execute the summer conferences, participate in various educational sessions, and take on various Phi Delta Theta Foundation projects, all while gaining valuable professional experience in the nonprofit, association, event planning, and fundraising industries.

Brian is entering his senior year and is a member of the Tennessee Delta Chapter of Phi Delta Theta at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, Tennessee. He is a marketing major with an interest in pursuing a career in either marketing research or social media marketing after graduation. As a member of Tennessee Delta, Brian has served in six different officer positions including recruitment chairman, scholarship chairman, and awards chairman. Brian has also served two years on Tennessee Tech’s Interfraternity Council as vice president of public relations & marketing and vice president of programming. He has represented the Tennessee Delta Chapter at various leadership conferences during his time as an undergraduate including Recruitment Workshops and at the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute. Brian’s favorite Phi Delt memory was his first Homecoming as a Phi, where he and his brothers were able to meet a number of Tennessee Delta’s Founding Fathers.

I see the prospect of becoming the greatest version of myself as a lifelong journey that doesn’t end after I leave college. I believe that we all have unlimited potential for improvement and that we should never place a ceiling on our personal growth. I’m incredibly excited to experience the Fraternity from a new angle while having the opportunity to give back.”
