The offerings include the same fundraising and communication services you can find with other providers, as well as additional exclusive offerings, including housing consultation, legal evaluation, event planning, readily available affinity and wealth screening for Phi Delt-specific giving and collection of all gifts.

Above all, local chapters are supported by fellow Phis at Phi Delta Theta’s General Headquarters who have a vested interest in executing successful campaigns.

An engaged alumni base is critical to the success of any Phi Delt chapter. Is the chapter seeking a simple means of keeping alumni up-to-date on other members’ lives or inviting them to events such as Founders Day? Campaign Board Retreats & Feasibility Studies

If the chapter is considering an effort to raise capital, Phi Delta Theta can assist by conducting a campaign feasibility study following an initial retreat. The retreat, attended by the campaign board, House Corporation, and undergraduate chapter, meshes all ideas and opportunities as it gathers support from all parties.

A feasibility study begins with a complete wealth scan of the chapter’s alumni base via the Phi Delta Theta Foundation’s collection of prospect research resources and information gathering tools. The Foundation surveys and interviews lead potential donors as it surveys all alumni electronically. Following this 90-day process, the campaign board, with the expertise of the Foundation staff, is able to determine the best course of action as it considers a capital campaign or further alumni engagement. A comprehensive feasibility study and report is presented once complete.

Capital Campaigns

Following the feasibility study report, the Foundation staff leads the campaign board in securing lead gifts of major and mid-level donor prospects, with and without volunteer assistance. Phi Delta Theta develops the overall campaign strategy and directs its implementation, all while providing house corporations with administrative support that includes comprehensive gift acknowledgement and donor recognition.

Throughout the campaign, the campaign board assists in making solicitations while the staff coordinates the chapter’s alumni and donors throughout the campaign. This process lasts 6-8 months. Phi Delta Theta ensures that all communication and solicitation pieces are prioritized and scheduled.
