The Summer Leadership Series
Phi Delta Theta will host the Summer Leadership Series via the Ihlenfeld University for Online Education (PDT U) from August 9–12, 2021 at 7:00-9:30 p.m. EST each evening. At the heart of the series is the desire to provide education tailored towards the fall 2021 term and a return to normalcy on our college campuses.
Geared towards undergraduate leaders, specifically chapter executive officers, the event will focus on all things chapter operations as we return to a more traditional fraternity experience. This concentration includes aspects of recruitment and new member education, social activities and risk management, and community service and brotherhood. The Summer Leadership Series will feature world-class general session speakers, best practice strategies for healthy chapter operations, knowledge of Phi Delta Theta risk management policies, and self-directed, chapter-based learning exercises with an emphasis on accountability and planning for the upcoming semester.
Each chapter is strongly encouraged to register all executive officers for the event. In addition to the Summer Leadership Series, each executive officer should complete the Professional Greatness Badge as part of the Pursuit of Greatness membership development program. The Professional Greatness Badge focuses on chapter operations and will serve as a great introduction to the Sumer Leadership Series programming.
Most of the general sessions throughout the Summer Leadership Series will also be streamed live on Facebook, recorded, and posted in PDT U for those not attending the conference.
