From Undergraduate to Alumnus: Ways to Stay Engaged with the Fraternity

Congratulations recent graduates! On behalf of Phi Delta Theta General Headquarters, we would like to congratulate you on your recent accomplishment and thank you for letting us be a part of your collegiate journey. The late nights, the friendships, the lessons learned inside and outside the chapter house — all of college has led you to your future.

Graduation marks the beginning of your lifelong membership in the Fraternity.

The values and experiences you carry out the door will continue shaping who you are for decades. And the brotherhood that invested in you is still here, ready to grow with you.

As you begin this next chapter, remember that graduation is not the end of your Phi Delt experience; it is the beginning of your lifelong membership in our Fraternity. The friendships, values, and experiences you built as an undergraduate will continue to shape your life for decades to come.

One of the greatest strengths of our Fraternity is that there are countless ways to remain connected and engaged as an alumnus. Whether you have a few hours a month or simply want to stay close with your brothers, there is a place for you.

Some ways that you can stay engaged with Phi Delta Theta as a whole, or even just your chapter brothers are:

Serve on a house corporation or CAB
Put your leadership experience to work by guiding and mentoring the next generation of Phi Delts.

Support the Phi Delta Theta Foundation
Give back as a donor or serve as a scholarship judge to directly impact the lives and education of our undergraduate members.

Become an Iron Phi
Join the fight against ALS — one of the most meaningful ways to embody the Fraternity’s values beyond the chapter.

Volunteer with Live Like Lou
Support families impacted by ALS and carry forward a legacy of service that Phi Delta Theta is known for.

Join an alumni club or attend a First Thursdays
Connect with brothers in your city at a local First Thursdays happy hour — or launch your own monthly gathering.

Mentor undergraduate members
Share your experience, career advice, and perspective with undergraduates navigating the same road you once walked.

Stay in the Loop

And of course, sometimes staying connected looks a lot simpler: a group chat with your member class, dinner, golf outings, even attending each other’s weddings or other life events. We encourage you to stay connected with Phi Delta Theta and with each other.

Update your contact information using myPhiDelt so you know what is happening around you, follow our Facebook and Instagram accounts, join the Phi Delta Theta Professional Network on LinkedIn, attend events, and continue investing in the brotherhood that invested in you.

Thank you for the impact you made as an undergraduate member of Phi Delta Theta, and we cannot wait to see the difference you make as an alumnus!
