Dr. Jigar Kadakia, University of California-Irvine ’02, earned his medical degree from the Medical University of Lublin in Lublin, Poland.
Brother Kadakia’s involvement with Phi Delta Theta began as an undergraduate, where he served his chapter in numerous leadership roles, including Scholarship Chairman, Phikeia Educator, Recruitment Chairman, Secretary, and Chapter President. He participated as a Fellow in the Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute in 2024 and remains an active and supportive alumnus of the Fraternity.
Dr. Kadakia began his professional career in clinical medicine, serving as a Hospitalist from 2014 to 2021. During this period, he developed extensive experience in patient care, clinical decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration within hospital settings.
Following his work in direct patient care, he transitioned into healthcare administration, serving as Chief Medical Officer across multiple hospitals for two and a half years. In this role, he focused on hospital operations, system improvement, communication strategies, and the overall patient and staff experience.
Dr. Kadakia currently serves as a physician-entrepreneur, managing his own business while remaining engaged in the healthcare field. He is fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Spanish, with working proficiency in Polish.
Outside of his professional and fraternal commitments, Dr. Kadakia enjoys spending his free time working on crossword puzzles, exploring films across a variety of genres, and traveling. He has a longstanding fondness for Disney and values opportunities to experience new cultures and environments.
