Kris Morrisey

After graduating from the University of Missouri, Kris began her career as an occupational therapist, where she gained firsthand insight into the challenges families face while navigating neurological conditions. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for service and led her into the nonprofit sector. After time at home raising her children, Kris joined Hear Indiana as a Development Associate, where she spent more than a decade helping grow the organization from a small nonprofit into a thriving community resource. Today, she brings that same dedication, compassion, and organizational expertise to Live Like Lou.

Kris and her husband are enjoying life as empty nesters and are proud parents of two adult daughters. She loves traveling, baking cookies, long walks with audiobooks, early morning Bible reading, and volunteering at her church.
