Matthew Griffin is a 2026 graduate of Hanover College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication. During his four years at Hanover, he served as a student coach for both the football team (four years) and the men’s lacrosse team (three years), demonstrating an early commitment to leadership and collaboration in team settings.
Matthew joined Phi Delta Theta his freshman year and quickly rose through the ranks, serving as his chapter’s risk management chairman before being elected president of Hanover’s Interfraternity Council. His openness and natural leadership style have allowed him to thrive in team environments and continually push himself to grow both personally and professionally.
In 2026, Matthew joined General Headquarters staff as a recruitment specialist, where he brings that same passion for connection and community to his work every day. Outside of the office, Matthew is a Bloomington, Indiana native who enjoys cooking dinner for his family on the farm. When he’s not in the kitchen, you’ll likely find him outdoors fishing, hiking, biking, playing golf, or simply soaking in some fresh air and good company.
