Author of Your Comfort Zone Is Killing You, Billy Anderson shows us the importance of courage in leadership, how our fears hold all of us back, and what you can do starting today to be a more courageous leader. You will learn from his adventures and screw-ups; he has traveled to over forty countries, led over forty Outward Bound wilderness trips, jumped out of an airplane exactly 101 times, and now he helps executives be more courageous and authentic leaders.
Brother Anderson finally found the courage to stop doing what the world told him he “should” do. Instead, he defined his own version of success and went for it. After leaving his successful advertising career, Billy moved to the woods and led Outward Bound trips, while leading volunteer projects In Central America and the South Pacific during the winter.
Billy now lives a life that’s true to him while making a positive difference in the world, as the founder of The Courage Crusade. In this capacity, Brother Anderson runs his own executive coaching business that includes professional speaking, facilitating workshops and groups for successful companies, and one-on-one coaching.
In addition, Billy is an International Coaching Federation Certified Coach, Career Partners International Certified Career Coach, lead instructor for Outward Bound, and contributing writer for Globe & Mail. Billy has found time to get WAY out of his comfort zone to grow his courage “muscle.” He has trekked in the Himalayas, Run with the Bulls in Spain, swam with sharks in Thailand, been a sugarcane farmer in Costa Rica, an apple picker in New Zealand, and a fundraising director for an international charity.
