Brother Ian Zimmerman graduated with a BS in communications media production and a BS in media marketing from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He joined the Pennsylvania Lambda Chapter in April of 2019 and served as chapter president, recruitment chairman, and Phikeia educator during his time in the chapter. In addition to his involvement with the Pennsylvania Lambda Chapter at IUP, Ian worked for the campus radio station and TV stations, and worked in the Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys golfing, weightlifting, and hiking. Ian hopes to use this experience with Phi Delta Theta to explore further employment in higher education.
Why did you decide to work for Phi Delta Theta?
As an undergraduate, I appreciated the one-of-a-kind experiences provided to me through my membership in Phi Delta Theta. The opportunity to develop my professional skill set while networking with Phis contributed to my passion for this organization. I chose to work for General Headquarters as a way to give back to the organization and have a hand in helping to provide the same memorable experiences to undergraduate members who share my appreciation for the Fraternity.
